Aston Villa : Patrick Vieira séduit par les performances de Nicolas Jackson et Ibrahim Mbaye
Patrick Vieira was delighted with the form shown by Nicolas Jackson and Ibrahim Mbaye at Aston Villa. The two Senegalese internationals, who play for the same club, have caught the national team coach's eye ahead of the Lions' next training camp.
The French coach particularly praised the performances of Nicolas Jackson, whom he considers one of the leaders capable of lifting the group up.
“When I see what Jackson is doing with Aston Villa, I find it remarkable. He is in top form. He is stringing together matches, performances and goals,” Vieira emphasized.
Regarding Ibrahim Mbaye, the coach believes that the young striker is progressing and gradually gaining playing time.
"He is gradually establishing himself, he is stringing together good performances," he said.
Patrick Vieira now hopes that this positive momentum at club level will also translate to the national team.
"We are talking about two players who are really in form and I hope that this form will translate to the national team," he concluded.
