Basketball: Who are the highest-paid players in the NBA?

Leading the league in total valuation are the Golden State Warriors at $13.5 billion, followed by the defending champion New York Knicks ($12.6 billion) and the Los Angeles Lakers ($12.5 billion), the latter acquired last offseason by Josh Kushner and Bob Iger for this record price.

These three iconic brands are the only sports franchises in the league valued above the $10 billion threshold, fueled by their massive media markets in San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles.

Stephen Curry makes history as the first NBA player worth $200 million.

Franchises are not the only ones setting financial records, as the top 10 superstars are expected to collect nearly $1 billion in combined revenue this season.

According to Forbes, Stephen Curry leads the pack with an unprecedented total earnings of $203.6 million, making him the first active NBA player to surpass the $200 million single-season mark. Curry commands $62.6 million on the court, the highest single-season playing salary in NBA history, complemented by a staggering $141 million in off-court earnings.

This off-court record was fueled by his successful 10-year partnership with Li-Ning after leaving Under Armour, breaking the previous off-court record of $100 million.

Kevin Durant of the Rockets, who is about to earn $104.9 million, and Giannis Antetokounmpo, who will bring in $103.5 million following his successful summer trade to the Miami Heat, who follows Curry into the top three.

LeBron James and Anthony Edwards will make the top five

LeBron James, who held the top spot for 11 consecutive seasons, is set to fall to second place in 2025.

The 42-year-old icon is set to earn $93.9 million, the vast majority of which was channeled through out-of-court companies after signing a contract worth at least $3.9 million with the Philadelphia 76ers in July to pursue another title.

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards, who is set to earn $87.9 million from major endorsement deals with Adidas and Sprite, has all five elite players around him.
