Burglary: Éder Militão robbed of his luxury items during the Clasico

The Clasico evening turned into a nightmare for Éder Militão. While Real Madrid were facing FC Barcelona last Sunday, the Brazilian international defender was the victim of a burglary at his home in La Moraleja, an upscale residential area of Madrid.

According to the Spanish daily El Mundo, at least two individuals took advantage of the player's absence, as he was away for the match, to break into his residence between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. The burglars reportedly targeted an upstairs bedroom before making off with loot estimated at over €350,000.

Among the stolen items are several high-value pieces, including a Rolex estimated at 53,000 euros, a Richard Mille watch valued at nearly 170,000 euros, three Chanel bags with a total value of 15,000 euros, as well as Cartier rings and bracelets.

The break-in is all the more surprising given that several members of the player's family were on the ground floor, watching the Clasico on television. None of them reportedly heard any suspicious noises. The property's alarm system was not activated, and the occupants apparently noticed nothing during the burglary.

It was ultimately the police, accompanied by the residence's security guards, who discovered the extent of the theft. In the Madrid defender's room, officers found his belongings in disarray, evidence of the thieves' presence.

Having remained on the bench during this clash between the two Spanish giants, Éder Militão is now trying to recover his belongings. The Brazilian international has reportedly enlisted the services of a specialist to locate the missing items, some of which are said to hold particular sentimental value for him.
