But Solanke equalized in the second minute of stoppage time: 1-1. Holding onto the lead against ten men clearly proved too difficult.

Leeds also knows how to upset its rival. Last season, the club took four points against Manchester United: a 1-1 draw at home, followed by a 2-1 victory at Old Trafford. That April win was, in fact, Leeds' first league victory at that stadium in 45 years.

This season in the Premier League, Leeds have yet to lose at home. Manchester United, on the other hand, have yet to win away from home.

Our prediction: draw at 3.6.

Liverpool vs Villarreal, Champions League, October 20

The four previous European encounters between these two teams all took place in the semi-finals: in the 2015/16 Europa League and the 2021/22 Champions League.

Liverpool have won three of these matches, Villarreal one. Their aggregate score: 8-3 in favor of the English side. At Anfield, the Spanish team have never scored: a 3-0 defeat in 2016, then a 2-0 loss in 2022. Their memories of their visits to Liverpool are therefore not exactly fond.

This time, the two teams will face each other for the first time in the league. To get their revenge, Villarreal will first have to find the back of the net at Anfield. For now, we have more faith in the home side.

Our prediction: Liverpool win at 1.515.

PSG vs Barcelona, Champions League, October 20

PSG and Barcelona have faced each other 16 times in official European competitions. The record is perfectly balanced: six wins each and four draws. Even the number of goals is identical: 29-29.

In 2017, Barça won 6-1 after losing 4-0 in Paris. At the time, the Catalans were coached by Luis Enrique. Today, he manages PSG.

Paris Saint-Germain are the reigning European champions. Last season in the Champions League, they beat Barcelona 2-1 despite a lengthy injury list!

This match also has a personal dimension. Ferran Torres left Barcelona to join PSG this summer. A year ago, he scored against the Parisians. This time, he could find the back of the net against his former club.

This is one of the biggest matches of the season. You can't miss it. Otherwise, how can you still call yourself a football fan?

Bayern Munich vs Arsenal, Champions League, October 21

Bayern Munich have won eight of their 15 Champions League encounters with Arsenal. Goal difference: 31-18. Between 2015 and 2017, the Bavarians even won three consecutive matches by a score of 5-1. Even when it comes to handing out a thrashing, there's always a way to play your cards right.

In their five knockout encounters, Bayern Munich have always qualified. Their most recent match was in 2024. Arsenal therefore have ample reason to dislike traveling to Munich.

But last season, the Londoners won 3-1 at home. Proof that heavy defeats of the past are no longer necessarily inevitable.

Harry Kane is another reason to watch this match. At eight years old, he spent a year at Arsenal's academy. The Gunners now have reason to regret it. The former youth player will once again try to score against the London club.
