Éliminatoires Mondial 2027 (4e fenêtre): Le Sénégal tombe d’entrée face à l’Égypte

Senegal missed their opening match in the fourth window of the FIBA 2027 World Cup qualifiers. The Lions lost to Egypt (75-67) on Thursday at the Dakar Arena.

After being held to a draw for much of the match, the Senegalese were unable to turn the tide against a solid and clinical Egyptian team in the decisive moments.

The Lions will need to quickly put this behind them. They return to the court on Saturday to face Angola, who made a successful start to this window by defeating Congo earlier in the day.

This second match is already shaping up to be crucial for Senegal in the race for qualification.
