Équipe nationale Allemagne : Jürgen Klopp annonce la couleur à ses joueurs
Barely settled into his role as manager of the German national team, Jürgen Klopp already intends to impose his methods. The new coach of the Mannschaft has made it clear to his players: a lack of commitment and seriousness will not be tolerated under his leadership.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated, the former Liverpool manager admitted that he can be particularly demanding when his players don't meet expectations. While he insists he doesn't usually shout, Klopp doesn't hesitate to raise his voice when he feels some players aren't giving their all.
"With a team, I might raise my voice. Not very often, but if I feel that someone is letting things slide, then I escalate things," he explained.
The German coach fully embraces this passionate personality. For him, intensity and commitment are essential elements for success at the highest level.
"I'm an emotional person. When something is important to me, I give it my all, and it shows," Klopp added.
These statements offer a glimpse into the mindset the new national team coach wants to instill in Germany. Combining high standards, passion, and discipline, Klopp intends to put commitment back at the heart of the Mannschaft's project.
