Espagne: Le footballeur Marcos Llorente charge le ministre Puente, après l’accident de trains meurtrier
Spain is in mourning following a train disaster on Wednesday, October 28, near the Urda station in the Castile-La Mancha region. Two high-speed trains collided, killing at least 64 people.
Touched by this tragedy, Spanish footballer Marcos Llorente took to his digital channels to vent his anger at the Spanish Minister of Transport, Oscar Puente.
"Dear Oscar Puente, isn't it time to put Twitter aside and focus on the work we pay you for?"
He criticizes her for spending most of her time on social media instead of taking care of the responsibilities entrusted to her.
“Dear Oscar Puente, isn’t it time to put Twitter aside and focus on the job we pay you for?” the Colchoneros midfielder began.
He continued: "When human lives are at stake, the least one can demand of a Minister of Transport is responsibility, seriousness, safety and respect."
The footballer then reminded the minister that his job was not to be on Twitter "debating like 13-year-olds", but to take care of managing public transport, passenger safety and reporting when things go wrong.
A message shared by Courtois, Carbajal, Baena and Morata
"So far, you have been catastrophic in this area, but as always, you will blame someone else. Let the circus continue," Marcos Llorente asserted, demanding explanations and political accountability from the Minister of Transport following the fatal accident.
The player's philippics, published notably on his Instagram account, were relayed by Dani Carvajal, Baena, Morata and Thibaut Courtois.
