Espagne : Un joueur du Real Madrid condamné pour conduite en état d’ivresse
The events date back to August 16, 2026. Raul Asensio, defender for Real Madrid, was arrested at the wheel of his Porsche Macan GTS on a highway in southern Gran Canaria, with a blood alcohol level of 0.90 mg/l; a level far exceeding the legal limit of 0.25 mg/l.
According to "Atlantico Hoy", the Spanish courts recently fined the player €14,400 following an expedited trial. His driver's license was also suspended for eight months.
He's not out of the woods yet.
It should be noted that the Real Madrid center-back is involved in another legal case. He is due to appear this Thursday before a provincial court along with three other former Real Madrid reserve players for recording and distributing sexually explicit videos without the consent of the victims (two women, one of whom is a minor).
