Filipe Luís impressionné par Lamine Camara : « Je n’ai jamais rien vu de tel chez lui au cours de mes 20 ans de carrière »
Lamine Camara continues to fuel discussions surrounding AS Monaco as the transfer window draws to a close. The 22-year-old Senegalese midfielder remains on the radar of several Premier League clubs, including Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea.
Despite this growing interest, Monaco intends to keep its Senegalese international, who has had a convincing start to the season. In the first matchday of Ligue 1, the former Génération Foot player notably contributed to ASM's victory away to Le Havre (1-0).
His coach, Filipe Luís, particularly appreciates the Senegalese player's qualities and hasn't hesitated to make it known. The Brazilian coach heaped praise upon him, going so far as to say that he had never seen a similar player in his long career.
“Of everything I’ve seen, there’s one player who’s caught my eye: Lamine Camara. I’ve never seen anything like it from him in my 20-year career. He’s a player of a very different kind from anything I’ve seen so far,” said Filipe Luís.
A strong message that demonstrates the importance the Monaco staff places on Lamine Camara. It remains to be seen whether these statements will be enough to deter English suitors, who could still try their luck before the transfer window closes.
