Franc Ndiago défie Reug Reug : « Je vais le cogner et le terrasser ! »
Following his opponent Reug Reug's exit, wrestler Franc Ndiago responded firmly, displaying complete confidence ahead of their confrontation. Convinced of his superiority, he promised to end the fight in just 30 seconds if his opponent agreed to face him in the final stretch.
“As I always say, the national arena belongs to me. On the day, I will confirm it. All of Senegal knows that the 30 seconds and the straightaway belong to me. If he challenges me on the straightaway, I will defeat him in 30 seconds,” declared Franc Ndiago.
The wrestler also believes he knows Reug Reug well, having shared the experience of the national team and competed in traditional wrestling matches. He considers this mutual acquaintance an important factor in their duel.
"We were in the national team and we faced each other in singles wrestling. We know each other perfectly," he recalled, before reacting to his opponent's statements about his strength.
Far from wanting to prolong the war of words, the wrestler insists that everything will be decided in the arena. He promises a show of force as soon as the referee blows the whistle.
“We can continue to exchange words, but once in the arena, I’m going to show him what I’m capable of. On the day, as soon as the referee blows the whistle, I’ll punch him, I’ll knock him down, and I’ll go home,” he concluded.
The face-off between Franc Ndiago and Reug Reug is thus expected to be marked by an intense verbal rivalry, with each wrestler displaying his ambitions and determination to gain the upper hand over his opponent.
