France : Mbaye Niang va rebondir en Ligue 2
Mbaye Niang is nearing a new challenge in France. A free agent since leaving Gençlerbirliği Ankara last July, the 31-year-old striker is expected to continue his career in Ligue 2 with Dunkerque.
According to "L'Équipe," a verbal agreement has been reached between the two parties for a one-year contract, with an option for a further year. Following the surprise arrival of Steven Nzonzi this summer, the northern club is thus on the verge of making another splash in the transfer market.
Having previously played for AC Milan, Montpellier, Rennes, Bordeaux and Auxerre, Niang spent last season in Turkey. He scored 6 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions before leaving the club on a free transfer.
