Génération Foot : Abdourahmane Mbodj et Alassane Sy s’engagent avec le FC Metz
FC Metz continues to invest in talent from its Génération Foot academy. The French club has secured the signings of two promising young Senegalese players, Abdourahmane Mbodj and Alassane Sy, who will continue their development in the garnet colors next season.
According to Match360, both players have signed five-year contracts with the Lorraine club. They will officially join their new team when training resumes on July 1st.
After a remarkable season in the Senegalese Ligue 1, Abdourahmane Mbodj distinguished himself by finishing as the league's top scorer with 13 goals. His performances attracted the attention of several foreign clubs, notably in Germany, Turkey, and Ukraine.

Despite these offers, the striker chose the FC Metz sporting project to take the next step in his career.
His teammate Alassane Sy, considered one of the most promising midfielders of his generation, also chose to join Metz. Sought after by several European teams, particularly in Germany, the young player opted for Metz, renowned for its ability to nurture and develop talent from Senegal.

These two new signings confirm once again the strength of the historic partnership between Génération Foot and FC Metz, which has already allowed the emergence of many Senegalese internationals in recent years.
