JOJ Dakar 2026 – Beach-volley : Les Lionceaux tombent en huitièmes de finale

The adventure ends in the round of 16 for the young Senegalese volleyball players Mouhamed Sidibé and Souleymane Ciss at the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games (YOG). Facing the Chilean pair Arias/Farias, the Senegalese team lost in two sets (0-2), at the end of a hard-fought match.

The two Senegalese representatives started the match well, showing good intentions and trying to compete with their opponents. But despite their commitment, they were unable to gain the upper hand against the Chileans, who won the first set 21-17.

In the second set, Sidibé and Cissé tried to respond and hung on until the end, but finally gave way with a close score of 22-20.
