JOJ Dakar-2026 : Les Lioncelles du beach-volley prêtes à défier le Cap-Vert
Just hours before this match, the players are showing their determination and ambition to win a medal for Senegal.
Confident and motivated, the Lionesses approach this match with composure. Their coach, Fama Diop, believes the team is ready to take on the challenge. "Based on their fitness level, I would say they are ready. They have been training since the beginning, they are fully committed, and they are giving their all," she asserts.
Beyond physical preparation, mindset is also a major asset for the team. "They have a warrior mentality and are ready to take on any challenge. We're aiming for medals and we'll see what God has in store for us," the coach emphasizes.
The players are also brimming with confidence. Nafi Ségnane believes that their first encounter with the Cape Verdean team has given them a better understanding of their opponent. "We've played against this team and we already know how they play. Tomorrow, we'll face them again and, God willing, we'll do what it takes to win medals," she explains.
