Lamine Camara à Chelsea : Accord trouvé avec l’AS Monaco, “Here We Go” confirmé
Senegalese international Lamine Camara is set to join Chelsea, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano. A preliminary agreement was reached at the last minute on Tuesday between the London club and AS Monaco for a fee of £47 million (approximately €55 million, including bonuses).
According to Romano , the player has been granted permission to travel for his medical examination . The final administrative and medical steps now need to be completed before the transfer is officially announced, which is expected before the close of the English transfer window.
A reinforcement to compensate for the departure of Enzo Fernandez
This signing comes as Chelsea prepares for Enzo Fernandez's departure to Manchester City. Blues manager Xabi Alonso has made Lamine Camara his priority to strengthen the Blues' midfield.
Aged 22, Lamine Camara trained at the Génération Foot academy before joining FC Metz, then AS Monaco in 2024 for around 15 million euros. At Monaco, he established himself as one of the key players in the Monegasque midfield.
He is therefore about to experience his first Premier League game.
