Lamine Camara frustré après son transfert avorté : Les révélations du capitaine de l'AS Monaco
The Senegalese international has returned to the pitch after the saga of his transfer, agreed just hours before the transfer window closed, only to be blocked by the club's management at the last minute. This was something the player did not appreciate, explained AS Monaco captain Denis Zakaria after the victory against PSG on Friday night.
Nine out of nine, AS Monaco has made a perfect start to the season under its new coach, Filipe Luis. But all is not well at the club. On the final day of the transfer window, the club's management, including CEO Thiago Scuro, faced widespread criticism for their handling of the situation, with the failed transfer of Lamine Camara as a backdrop.
After the 2-1 victory against the reigning European and French champions, Denis Zakaria spoke about the Senegalese player's state of mind. "Lamine Camara? There's a bit of frustration for him, but he's a professional and someone who plays for the team. If he continues to play like this, he'll get better offers. He's fully focused with Monaco and he's playing matches like today," the Swiss midfielder said, according to Madeinfoot.
Against PSG, Lamine Camara delivered a strong performance in midfield, confirming that despite the disappointment of his failed transfer, he is now fully focused on the season with AS Monaco. At 22, the Senegalese international has a bright future ahead of him and should once again attract interest from top clubs in the upcoming transfer windows.
