At 40 years old, the goalkeeper was deservedly named man of the match and must have received countless notifications on his phone. While he had "only" 50,000 Instagram followers at kickoff, Vozinha has seen that number explode in the last few hours. At the time of writing, more than three million people have subscribed, and that number is expected to continue to grow.
“It’s crazy,” he exclaimed in the mixed zone. Despite his 89 caps and his recent nomination for the 2025 African Goalkeeper of the Year award, he hasn’t extended his contract with Chaves, in the Portuguese second division. This buzz could open some doors for him.
