« Le mot d’ordre, c’est l’union sacrée » : Le message fort de Mory Diaw face aux critiques
On the eve of the crucial match against Norway, Lions goalkeeper Mory Diaw called for unity within the national team. Determined and confident, the Senegalese goalkeeper believes the group remains fully focused despite their opening defeat against France.
Aware of the importance of this match, Mory Diaw points out that Senegal is in a particularly tough group where every match is of vital importance.
“We knew we were in a tough group. Every match is a final. We lost one against France, but we still have two matches left. As I’ve already said, we can’t afford any more mistakes,” he said.
Beyond the sporting aspect, Mory Diaw emphasized the solidarity within the national team. Addressing the debates and criticisms surrounding the team, he reaffirmed the importance of remaining united behind the squad.
“The watchword is unity. Whether it was during the last AFCON or during the World Cup qualifiers, we have always been together. That's not going to change today. We have always been united and we will remain so,” concluded Mory Diaw.
