The Senegalese Ligue 1 continues its third round of matches this weekend, with several games expected to be closely contested. The matches between Génération Foot and Linguère, and US Gorée and US Ouakam, are particularly noteworthy.

League leaders Génération Foot, with 4 points, will try to secure their second home victory against Linguère de Saint-Louis. The Garnets will be eager to confirm their strong start to the season against a Saint-Louis side coming off a defeat against US Gorée.

At the Djaguily Bagayokho stadium, US Ouakam (15th, 1 point) visits US Gorée (3rd, 4 points) for the Lebou derby. At the Alassane Djigo stadium, the reigning champions, Teungueth FC, travel to face AS Pikine (13th, 1 point). Eliminated in the preliminary rounds of the Champions League, the Rufisque-based team will be looking to bounce back in the league and avoid jeopardizing their start to the season.
