Ligue 1: Paris prend la tête, Lille rate le coche
Paris SG, who were behind for much of the game, came from behind Strasbourg at the end of the match (3-1) to win their fourth consecutive Ligue 1 game and temporarily take the lead in the championship ahead of Lille, who were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Brest on Saturday during the 7th matchday.
Lens, the third French club involved in the Champions League, made a good move in the standings thanks to their victory in Troyes (3-1) by temporarily moving up to seventh place, making people forget a little the defeat suffered on Tuesday in the Champions League against Sporting Portugal (2-0).
But it is Paris, deprived of its key players at the start in Strasbourg, who are top of Ligue 1, thanks to a victory obtained in the second half and a greater number of goals scored than Lille.
After the opening goal by Strasbourg's Giovanni Reyna (17th), it was necessary to wait for the entry of the usual starters for Paris to get back into the game: Illya Zabarnyi equalized (77th) before two goals from Ousmane Dembélé (85th) and Désiré Doué (90th+3) at the very end of the match.
The Parisians, also leading the Champions League group stage, will face FC Barcelona, their runners-up, on Tuesday.

Later in the evening, Lille, despite Ethan Mbappé's flamboyant return from injury, could not overcome Brest in a match they largely dominated (1-1).
Lille missed an opportunity to take sole possession of first place in Ligue 1, where they are tied on points with Paris SG and Monaco (14 pts), at the top of the table, but behind Paris on the number of goals scored.
Brest quickly opened the scoring through Mama Baldé (6th minute) and Lille equalized with an unstoppable penalty from Olivier Giroud (64th minute), provoked by Mbappé.
Finally, Lens, who beat Lyon last week, secured a second consecutive victory in Ligue 1 for the first time this season by winning on the pitch of the promoted Troyes (3-1).
Harassed defensively by enterprising Troyes but sorely lacking in realism, the Blood and Gold gave themselves some breathing room on the scoreboard before and after the break thanks to Odsonne Edouard (45+2) and Ruben Aguilar (55), after Timothé Nkada (26) responded to the opening goal by Lens (13).
RC Lens (10 points) temporarily climbed to seventh place in the league, ahead of their Champions League match away to Bruges on Wednesday. Troyes, defeated for the fifth consecutive time, remain in the relegation zone (17th, 4 points).
On Sunday, Monaco can overtake Paris and Lille if they do not lose in Lorient.
