Mercato : Boulaye Dia rejoint officiellement le Stade Rennais
Stade Rennais have secured their final attacking reinforcement of the summer. As announced in recent hours, the Breton club officially confirmed on Tuesday the arrival of Boulaye Dia from Lazio Rome.
At 29, the Senegalese international striker joins Rennes on a paid loan estimated at €2 million. The French club also has an option to buy for €8 million, allowing them to permanently acquire the player at the end of the season.
After Italy, Boulaye Dia returns to Ligue 1, a league he knows well, having played for Stade de Reims before Villarreal in Spain. This new adventure in Brittany represents an opportunity for him to get more playing time and relaunch his career at the highest level.
Stade Rennais is also counting on his experience and attacking profile to strengthen its attacking sector.
