Mercato : Chelsea intensifie les négociations pour Lamine Camara

Monaco wants to keep its jewel

Under contract with Monaco until June 2029, the 22-year-old enjoys a particularly favorable contractual situation with his club. Despite numerous offers, AS Monaco does not intend to facilitate his departure and maintains a valuation of €50 million.
His excellent start to the season only reinforces this position. Having become a central figure in Monaco's midfield, Lamine Camara also continues to impress his coach, Filipe Luís, who is particularly impressed by the Senegalese player's qualities.
The Brazilian coach did not hesitate to place his player very high in his assessment, describing him as "one of the best midfielders in the world" and highlighting his particularly rare profile.
Chelsea go on the offensive
This situation, however, does not prevent suitors from making their interest known. Crystal Palace has already made an offer, while Liverpool is also closely monitoring developments.
But Chelsea now seems to want to take the lead. The English club had already been monitoring Lamine Camara for several weeks and decided to intensify its efforts in recent hours.
This acceleration comes at a particularly sensitive time for Chelsea. Enzo Fernandez's departure to Manchester City now appears imminent, with the reported fee exceeding €140 million.
