Ismaïla Sarr could be one of the key players in the final days of the transfer window. The Senegalese international winger for Crystal Palace is attracting interest from Liverpool, who are looking to bolster their attack, particularly on the right flank.

After a particularly successful season with Crystal Palace, culminating in a Europa League title, the former Rennes and Marseille player is reportedly open to an approach from Liverpool. His performances have once again attracted the attention of England's top clubs, with a tally of 21 goals and 2 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions last season.

Sarr has clearly stated his intentions

According to reports, Ismaïla Sarr has already made his position clear to Crystal Palace's management. The Senegalese player has reportedly told chairman Steve Parish directly of his desire to join Liverpool and is now waiting for the two clubs to reach an agreement on the terms of his transfer.

With the transfer window closing soon, the player is reportedly ready to take the next step in his career. A move to Anfield would allow him to join one of England's most prestigious clubs and continue his Premier League adventure in a new shirt.

In his entourage, Ismaïla Sarr also reportedly mentioned the special relationship between Senegalese players and Liverpool, referring in particular to the significant time El Hadj Diouf and especially Sadio Mané spent at the Reds.

It remains to be seen whether Crystal Palace will agree to let their striker leave and whether Liverpool will make an offer likely to convince the London club's management. For Ismaïla Sarr, the desire certainly seems very real: the next chapter of his career could be written at Anfield.
