The transfer market broke records once again this summer. The Premier League overwhelmingly dominates the ranking of the most expensive deals, with nine of the ten players in this Top 10 set to play in England. Enzo Fernandez, Bradley Barcola, and Yan Diomandé occupy the top three spots.

1. Enzo Fernandez: 145 million euros

Manchester City made a last-minute splash. The Manchester club splashed out up to €145 million to sign Enzo Fernandez, who leaves Chelsea at the age of 25.

The Argentine world champion will notably be reunited with Enzo Maresca, his former coach at the Blues, now in charge of Manchester City.

2. Bradley Barcola: 145 million euros

A few days earlier, Liverpool had made a spectacular move with Bradley Barcola, recruited from Paris Saint-Germain for an estimated amount of 125 million euros excluding bonuses, which could reach 145 million.

At 24, the former Lyon player leaves Paris after three seasons and 39 goals. For PSG, this sale is a historic operation and surpasses previous club records, notably the transfer of Neymar to Al-Hilal.

3. Yan Diomandé: 140 million euros

This is one of the big revelations of the summer. Yan Diomandé, a young Ivorian winger of 19, leaves Leipzig to join Real Madrid in a deal estimated at 125 million euros excluding bonuses and up to 140 million.

Having scored 13 goals in 36 appearances for Leipzig, Diomandé also made a strong impression at the World Cup. His transfer makes him the most expensive African player in history, surpassing Nicolas Pépé and Victor Osimhen.

4. Morgan Rogers: 138 million euros

Chelsea also features in the rankings with Morgan Rogers. The London club spent up to €138 million to acquire the English attacking midfielder from Aston Villa.

At 24, Rogers had established himself as one of the sensations of the Premier League.

5. Elliot Anderson: 135 million euros

Manchester City continues its massive recruitment drive with Elliot Anderson, snatched from Nottingham Forest for around 135 million euros.

The 23-year-old midfielder, who came through the Newcastle academy, comes to bolster an already very well-stocked area at City.

6. Sandro Tonali: 116 million euros

The rankings also feature a significant number of transfers between English clubs. Sandro Tonali leaves Newcastle for Tottenham in a deal that could exceed €116 million including bonuses.

The 26-year-old Italian midfielder thus becomes one of the most expensive Italian players in history.

7. Ayyoub Bouaddi: 100 million euros

LOSC Lille has once again demonstrated its expertise in developing and promoting young players. Ayyoub Bouaddi has joined Manchester City in a deal estimated at €95 million, with a potential €5 million increase in bonuses.

At 18, after choosing to represent Morocco and distinguishing himself with his national team, he took another step forward by joining Manchester City.

8. Mateus Fernandes: 99 million euros

Tottenham appears once again in the Top 10 with Mateus Fernandes, recruited from West Ham for nearly 99 million euros.

The 22-year-old Portuguese player, who was trained at Sporting, thus continues his rise in England.

9. Savinho: 99 million euros

Another major operation carried out by Tottenham was the arrival of Savinho from Manchester City.

The transfer fee is estimated at nearly €88 million excluding bonuses and over €99 million including various clauses. The 22-year-old Brazilian winger had made 84 appearances for Manchester City.

10. Bruno Guimarães: 87.5 million euros

Finally, Bruno Guimarães completes this ranking. The former Lyon player leaves Newcastle to join Arsenal for approximately €87.5 million.

At 28, the Brazilian midfielder brings his experience to an ambitious Arsenal team, both domestically and in Europe. After four seasons at Newcastle, he is therefore changing clubs but remaining in the Premier League.
