Premier League : Bruno Fernandes en feu, Manchester United corrige Ipswich
Manchester United responded perfectly after their disappointing start to the Premier League season. Beaten by Hull City (2-0) on the opening day, the Red Devils bounced back strongly on Sunday with a resounding 5-2 victory over Ipswich Town. This impressive win was largely driven by an exceptional performance from Bruno Fernandes, who scored a hat-trick and provided an assist.
The match had started poorly for Michael Carrick's men. Ipswich took the lead in the 29th minute thanks to Davis, putting Manchester United under pressure. But the Red Devils didn't take long to respond. Bruno Fernandes leveled the score in the 40th minute, completely revitalizing his side.
After the break, Manchester United stepped up the pace and quickly took control of the game. Greaves scored an own goal in the 56th minute, before Bruno Fernandes struck again. The Portuguese midfielder converted a penalty in the 61st minute, then added his third goal of the match seven minutes later.
Unleashed, the Manchester captain then transformed into a playmaker. In the 82nd minute, he set up Mbeumo, who contributed to the Red Devils' attacking display by scoring his team's fifth goal.
Ipswich finally salvaged some pride in added time through Akpom (90+1), but it did not change the outcome of a match largely dominated by Manchester United.
After a disastrous start in Hull, Manchester United have staged a spectacular comeback. And with Bruno Fernandes already in top form, the Red Devils are clearly showing their ambitions for the new season.
