Tournoi UFOA-A U17 : Le Liberia et le Mali se neutralisent
The Liberian and Malian U17 national teams began the WAFU Zone A tournament with a 1-1 draw. Liberia opened the scoring early in the second half through Prince Smith, giving the Lone Stars a promising lead. However, Mali quickly equalized at 1-1.
Despite both teams' attempts to gain the advantage, neither managed to score the winning goal before the final whistle.
With this result, Liberia and Mali share the points for their entry into this WAFU-A zone tournament, which qualifies for the U17 AFCON.
As a reminder, Group B now only has three teams after the disqualification of Guinea-Bissau.
