Transfert : M’Baye Niang se relance à l'USL Dunkerque, en Ligue 2 française
USL Dunkerque has secured a major signing. The northern club has officially announced the arrival of M'Baye Niang, who has signed a one-year contract with an option for a further year.
At 31, the striker returns to France with the ambition of reviving his career and bringing all his experience to the Dunkirk team. His profile, based on power, mobility, and efficiency in front of goal, represents a significant boost to the attacking line.
M'Baye Niang knows French football particularly well. Trained at Caen, he went on to play for several prestigious clubs, including AC Milan, Montpellier, Stade Rennais, Bordeaux, and Auxerre. He also played abroad, notably for Empoli.
This new adventure in Dunkirk therefore represents a return to his roots for the former Senegalese international, whose objective will be to help the Maritimes have a good season in Ligue 2.
After five league matches, Dunkerque has five points. The arrival of Niang could therefore offer the northern team an additional option to improve their attacking efficiency and climb the standings.
