On behalf of the President of the Republic Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, the Prime Minister and the Government, as well as in his own name, the Minister assured the Federation of his “encouragement and support”.
Moussa Sarr praised the work done by the FSF and its pool of lawyers, believing that the appeal to the CAS demonstrates Senegal's commitment to the rules governing international sport.
"Senegal approaches this hearing with serenity, respecting the jurisdiction seized and remaining faithful to the fraternal ties that unite it with the Kingdom of Morocco," he writes, stressing that these ties will remain regardless of the outcome of the proceedings.
