Weekend for Senegalese players abroad: Nobel Mendy scores, Iliman Ndiaye decisive

Senegalese players abroad have already made their mark at the start of this season. Nobel Mendy distinguished himself by scoring a goal for Hull City, while Iliman Ndiaye proved decisive for Everton.

Even though some players are still likely to change clubs before the transfer window closes, Senegalese internationals continue to distinguish themselves in their various leagues.

In French Ligue 1, AS Monaco, featuring Lamine Camara and Sadibou Sané, secured a 1-0 victory away to Le Havre. For Le Havre, captain Rassoul Ndiaye started the match, while Mory Diaw remained on the bench.

Strasbourg, with Pape Demba Diop coming on as a substitute in the 69th minute, suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat away to Marseille. At the Stade Félix-Bollaert, Lens, with Abdallah Sima in the lineup, secured a positive result, the Senegalese player providing an assist.

In Troyes, Paris FC, with Moustapha Mbow in the starting lineup, secured a valuable point (0-0). Meanwhile, Nice, with Yehvann Diouf and Antoine Mendy in the starting eleven, were held to a draw by Lorient (0-0).

Sunderland, without Habib Diarra, lost 2-1 away to Ipswich Town. Tottenham, without Pape Matar Sarr, also suffered a heavy defeat, losing 3-0 to Brentford. Chelsea, with Mamadou Sarr in their squad, will face Fulham on Monday in the London derby.

In Italy , for the first day, Udinese, with Idrissa Guèye coming off in the 71st minute, were held to a draw by Como, with Assane Diao coming on in the 46th minute.

In Belgium, for the third day, Club Bruges, with Mamadou Diakhon in the starting lineup before giving way in the 78th minute, won against Cercle Bruges (1-0).

In Turkey , for the second day, Galatasaray, with Ismaïl Jakobs in the starting lineup, went and won comfortably on the pitch of Erzurumspor (4-0).

In Greece , for the first day, Chérif Ndiaye remained on the bench during PAOK's big victory against Levadiakos (4-0).

In Saudi Arabia , for the third day, Al-Nassr, with Sadio Mané in the starting lineup, won convincingly on the pitch of Al-Riyadh (4-0).

Al-Hilal, featuring Kalidou Koulibaly, secured a 3-0 victory away to Al-Fayha. The Lions' captain provided an assist for his team's second goal.

Al-Diriyah , with Idrissa Gana Gueye in the starting lineup, secured a 1-0 victory away at Al-Hazem. Meanwhile, Al-Faisaly, with Abdoulaye Seck as captain, suffered a 1-0 home defeat against Neom, featuring Malang Sarr.
