Sécurité des ponts de Ziguinchor / La charge de Guy Marius Sagna : « Pour qui se prend le Gouvernement ? Excusez-vous ! »
From Ziguinchor, beneath the second Tobor bridge, Guy Marius Sagna, a member of parliament from the 15th legislature, delivered a scathing statement against the government. Following a site visit to the Émile Badiane bridge and the coastline, the parliamentarian denounced the critical deterioration of the infrastructure and criticized unfulfilled government promises.
Recalling that he had questioned the government at least three times between 2024 and 2026, the elected official emphasized the strategic importance of these infrastructures: "Access to Ziguinchor necessarily passes through these bridges. Without them, one has to go around via Goudomp, an endless detour. That is why we demand clear answers."
Guy Marius Sagna specifically pointed to the broken promises of successive ministers, citing Yankhoba Diémé and Déthié Fall. While the laying of the foundation stone was solemnly announced for July 31, 2026, during the reopening of Ziguinchor airport, a press release from Ageroute published on July 28 postponed the project indefinitely .
" Apologize to the Senegalese people!"
This about-face without official explanation provoked the parliamentarian's indignation: "The Senegalese government hasn't even apologized. Who do they think they are? Apologize to the Senegalese people, especially those in Ziguinchor." Drawing a parallel with governance standards in Japan—where leaders publicly bow for even the slightest power outage—the MP reminded everyone that elected officials and ministers remain servants of the people, accountable for their actions.
From a safety standpoint, the situation is critical: exposed metal, loose stone blocks, and cracks directly threaten the safety of users, having already caused several accidents. "Prevention is better than cure. Waiting for a major disaster to act would be irresponsible," he warned.
The MP announced that a new written question would be submitted in August 2026 to force the State to set a firm date for the effective start of the works.

De 2024 a 2026 , son leader etait le chef qui devait s excuser comme le font les japonnais. Il a prefere se focaliser sur comment utiliser et ensuite nous expliquer ou sont passes les fonds qu ils a convertis en caisse noire.
