Tivaouane et Kaolack : des équipes de police mobilisées au Gamou pour délivrer des passeports en 48 heures
As part of its community policing policy, the General Directorate of the National Police (DGPN), through the Directorate of Foreigners and Travel Documents Police (DPETV), is organizing express passport enrollment operations in Tivaouane and Kaolack, on the occasion of the celebration of Maouloud 2026.
It was Chief Superintendent Mame Ndew Sene, serving at the Directorate of Foreigners and Travel Documents Police, who made the announcement.
According to her, police teams will be deployed from Friday, August 21st to Tuesday, August 25th. In Tivaouane, the operation will take place at the Guest House. In Kaolack, it will be conducted at the former Medina Baye outpost, opposite the esplanade.
Chief Commissioner Mame Ndew Sene clarified that the passports will be issued within 48 hours.
This initiative is part of the DGPN's desire to bring the administration closer to the people, particularly during large religious gatherings that draw thousands of worshippers to these religious cities each year.
