Le Film Tragique De l'Expulsion Déchirante de la Famille d'Ali Par la Gendarmerie...
In Senegal, land fraud is more than just a crime; it's a human tragedy that repeats itself relentlessly. Fraudulent sales with forged documents, double transactions, identity theft of notaries or property owners... the scourge has become endemic. Behind each case, it's not just falsified titles that accumulate, but lives that are shattered.
The latest tragedy has struck the Srour family. Mohamed Ali Srour, a renowned Senegalese photographer, thought he had secured his family's future. According to his account, in 2016 he purchased land from a woman he trusted completely. She even oversaw the construction of the house. In 2019, the family moved into this house located on the VDN (Voie de Dégagement Nord), a home now filled with memories.
Today, the awakening is brutal. The true legal owner of the plot has come forward to claim his property. Even worse, the General Directorate for Land Use Monitoring and Control (DSCOS) has ordered the demolition of the dwelling.
Victims of a breach of trust and a devastating real estate scam, the Srour family is forced to leave their home. They must now watch the walls they thought were theirs crumble.
Faced with the urgency of the situation and the looming financial crisis, an online fundraising campaign has just been launched to support Mohamed Ali Srour and his family. Because beyond the real estate scandal, there are children, an elderly and ailing grandmother, a story, and a dignity to be saved.
