Meeting in Council of Ministers on July 30 under the chairmanship of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the government adopted a decree which frames the mass registration for the issuance of the unique electronic identifier of natural persons.
This operation, carried out within the framework of the WURI project, will be entirely managed by public structures in order to guarantee the sovereignty of biometric data.
The authorities announce an upcoming launch of nationwide registration, with a system deployed across the entire territory and complaint management mechanisms to ensure the transparency of the process.
