Guinée : Mystérieuse capture d’un serpent tueur d’hommes à Dinguiraye
It had been terrorizing the area since 2003. The inhabitants of Koumbia N'Danta called it the "monstrous" reptile. A venomous snake responsible for the deaths of four people on the path connecting the villages of Koumbia N'Danta and Horè Koubi was recently captured by the fetish hunters of the Keira family of Faranah.
Ritual summoning of the serpent
According to Africaguinée, which reported the story, the hunters didn't need to harm the reptile. They simply went to the scene of its last crime, equipped with their talismans and a bag. They then performed rituals to summon it. The reptile quickly emerged from its lair and entered the hunters' bag of its own accord, followed by a second, smaller specimen.
Thus ended the story of the man-killing snake, to the great satisfaction of the inhabitants of Koumbia N'Danta, a locality situated 9 km southwest of Dinguiraye, in the Faranah region
