On September 13, K. Kane went to the HLM-Biscuiterie police station to report that her 14-year-old sister, AS, had allegedly been raped while their mother was bedridden. According to the prosecution, the alleged victim had gone to a neighbor's house in Ben Tally around 4:00 p.m. on September 11. The neighbor, named Djim, was said to have "often given her money." After drinking some water, she reportedly remained unconscious until waking the next day, at which point "she realized she was naked." The accused then allegedly advised her "to take a bath before leaving."
Upon his return, his sister reportedly noticed "blood on his private parts" and alerted the police. The minor's presence allowed investigators to quickly locate the scene. Officers from the Criminal Investigation Brigade then arrested the suspect who, "briefly questioned about the alleged offenses, confessed without hesitation." He is being held pending the results of medical examinations, reports Libération.
