Gay shopkeeper: victim threatened with a machete and the incredible revelation of a mutual rape

According to revelations by Libération, the Bignona police station has completed and submitted to the Public Prosecutor's Office its investigation report concerning Amadou D., a 32-year-old shopkeeper based in Tenghory. Charged with pedophilia, unnatural acts, and repeated rapes of minors, the accused is suspected of having targeted at least five teenagers from the neighborhood, identified by their initials: M.Tamba (14 years old), M.Tall (17 years old), YAColy (16 years old), S.Sané (17 years old), and AKBadiane (16 years old).

The case came to light following an anonymous tip about the shopkeeper's actions. During the investigation, the same source reports, police collected chilling statements from the young victims. The youngest, M. Tamba (14 years old), recounted with horror: "[He] abused me in his shop while threatening me with a machete." For their part, YAColy, S. Sané, and AKBadiane reported the direct financial offers he made to them to solicit sexual relations: "Kayma niaff la diokhla 5000 Fcfa": "Come, let me sleep with you, I'll give you 5,000 FCFA."

As for Mr. Tall (17 years old), a high school junior, he described the downward spiral he fell into: “He abused me five times inside his shop. He often offered me food, and I was afraid to report him.” These poignant testimonies were corroborated by the statement of FKBadiane, a shopkeeper and the accused's roommate, who unequivocally denounced him: “He is a sexual predator,” claiming in particular to have seen one of the young boys limping out of the shop.

She firmly believes that "there are other victims".

To make matters worse, the newspaper adds, the technical analysis of the suspect's smartphone yielded irrefutable physical evidence. To lure his victims, the man in his thirties used a well-established method: he attracted minors by sharing his internet connection, his virtual game called "IFoot," as well as meals, money, and cell phones. In the device's gallery, investigators discovered numerous photos of young boys taken inside the shop. Analysis of WhatsApp exchanges also revealed unambiguous messages sent to Mr. Tall, to whom the shopkeeper made advances in exchange for an iPhone or shared meals. Even more disturbing, listening to voice messages sent to O. Coly, his minor nephew living in Bissau, revealed explicit and passionate expressions such as "love you..." or "I hold you in my heart."

When questioned by investigators, the shopkeeper admitted to the acts of sodomy and repeated rape of minors, while denying the machete threats and the charge of pedophilia. To explain his actions, the accused made an unexpected confession: "I was the victim of sodomy and blackmail in Ivory Coast in 2022. That's when I crossed the line..." During the proceedings, the newspaper reports, he also accused one of the minors, 17-year-old Mr. Tall, of raping him. During a confrontation organized by the police, the teenager admitted to this specific act, explaining that he had taken the initiative to reverse the roles and be the active partner that day after being provoked by the shopkeeper.
