Fatick : La DER annonce un renforcement de son accompagnement dans les zones rurales
The General Delegation for Rapid Entrepreneurship (DER/FJ) aims to strengthen its support for economic actors in the Fatick region, particularly in rural areas. Training, formalization, and financing are the main pillars of this approach, which seeks to promote territorial equity.
“The Fatick region is full of enormous potential, particularly in salt, livestock farming, agriculture and tourism. Our main mission is to support you,” said Abdoulaye Niane, the general delegate of the DER/FJ during a tour to raise awareness, provide information and promote the support mechanisms of the delegation, this Wednesday, in the presence of the prefect of Fatick, Papa El Hadj Madické Dramé.
In this context, he announced that around twenty federations have been created in addition to the existing BIF. This initiative, he said, aims to bring support services closer to the population and contribute to territorial equity.
"It is in the most remote communes and villages that we find the men and women who need daily support to raise the level of development in Senegal," he explained.
He thus reaffirmed the DER's commitment to supporting project leaders at various stages of their activities. "The DER will be by your side to support you with training, formalization, and funding," he announced.
Abdoulaye Niane also stressed the need to offer rural populations the same opportunities as those living in urban centers. "We are working on this. Those in rural areas must benefit from the same entrepreneurial opportunities as those in cities," he said.
