Un conducteur de moto Jakarta heurté par un bus
A serious traffic accident occurred this Sunday around 5 p.m. in the town of Diende (Sedhiou department). It involved a passenger bus and a Jakarta motorcycle. According to initial reports, both vehicles were traveling in the same direction when the accident happened. Some witnesses claim that the motorcyclist, a young man from the neighboring village of Diattatouma, was startled by the bus's horn and tried to pull over to the side of the road. It was at this moment that the rear of the bus violently struck him. Other accounts suggest that the motorcyclist, while returning to the road, hit the bus, which then threw him off the road. The impact caused serious injuries to the victim. Alerted, members of the 43rd Fire and Rescue Company quickly arrived at the scene. The injured man was treated at the scene and then urgently transported to the Amadou Tidiane Ba Regional Hospital for further care. An investigation has been opened to determine the exact circumstances of this accident, the umpteenth of its kind in the department.
