Coupe du monde de basket féminin : La France et les États-Unis se retrouvent pour une finale de rêve
The Women's Basketball World Cup final takes place this Sunday in Berlin. France faces the United States in what promises to be a spectacular match. Two years after the Olympic final, won by the Americans, the two best teams in the tournament meet again for another clash of titans.
Having enjoyed a remarkable run since the start of the competition, both the French and American teams are eager to finish the tournament on a high note. Winners of the last three editions and the most decorated nation in the competition's history, the Americans enter this final as overwhelming favorites.
But they will have to be wary of a formidable French team, determined to win their first ever world title. Led in particular by Gabby Williams, an American who became a French citizen, Les Bleues have never been closer to a world championship.
However, with their world-class players and experience in major tournaments, the United States remains a tough team to beat. The final is therefore far from a foregone conclusion and promises a magnificent duel between the two giants of women's basketball.
