Niger : Niamey accuse le Tchad et la France après une frappe de drone meurtrière
The Nigerien government claims that its territory was targeted on Saturday around 00:00 GMT by a drone strike launched from Chad, allegedly with French support. The attack reportedly took place in the Emi Lulu area of the Agadez region, near the Algerian border.
According to authorities in Niamey, the strike killed two civilians, injured several others, and damaged vehicles. The government holds Chad responsible for the attack and its consequences.
Niamey also accuses N'Djamena of adopting a hostile posture for several months and of serving as a rear base for groups that would attack the populations and strategic and energy infrastructure of Niger.
