Rentrée scolaire à Podor : élèves et enseignants au rendez-vous, aucune école inondée
The prefect of the Podor department, Amadoune Diop, has given a positive initial assessment of the start of the school year. Following a tour of the department's schools, accompanied by the sub-prefects, the administrative authority expressed his satisfaction with the attendance rates of both students and teachers.
The purpose of this visit was to assess the conditions for the start of teaching and learning in the various areas of the department. At the end of this tour, the prefect reported a very satisfactory level of attendance among both students and teachers.
Another observation made during this field visit was that none of the schools visited were flooded. The administrative authority also reported no shortages of school supplies in the schools inspected.
