The demands of administrative, technical, and service staff (PATS) at public universities and student services centers have taken a significant step forward. In a press release issued on Monday, November 2nd, the National Federation of PATS Unions announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation.

This announcement follows a meeting held on Monday, November 2, 2026, between union representatives and the relevant minister. At the end of the discussions, both parties reached an agreement on extending the housing allowance to all administrative and technical staff.

The statement specifies that the Federation has already signed its part of the protocol. The Heads of Institutions will in turn sign theirs to finalize the process.

Ce ne sont pas des enseignants, c'est le personnel administratif et technique. Il faut lire avant de vouloir tirer sur les enseignants à tout va !

Comment peut-il trouver un accord à incidence financière avec les enseignants alors que la LFR est rejetée ? Il faut qu'ils prennent le temps de réfléchir pour la cohésion de leur communication. Cela fait trop de mensonges dispersés partout.
