Les États-Unis accorderont un visa à la mère ghanéenne d’un garçon de 15 ans décédé à New York
New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani confirmed that President Donald Trump had agreed to grant a visa to the Ghanaian mother of a 15-year-old boy murdered last Thursday while on his way to school.
"The murder of a child is a pain no parent should have to endure, let alone thousands of miles away," Mamdani said in a statement posted on his social media.
"Javits Frimpong's mother deserves to say goodbye to her son in person. I just spoke on the phone with President Trump and he agreed to grant him a visa immediately," the Democratic mayor assured.

The young man, 15-year-old Javits Frimpong, had left Ghana for New York last year to reunite with his father. He was shot in the abdomen on his way to school and taken to Santa Barnabas Hospital, where he later died, according to authorities.

So far, no arrests have been made and, according to initial investigations, the police are looking for three teenagers filmed by security cameras fleeing the scene of the crime.
His father, Thomas Frimpong, remembered his son as a quiet boy and said he had been bullied at school by two boys.
