L’humoriste Kevin Hart veut empêcher sa partenaire de films pour adultes de témoigner
Kevin Hart asked a judge to prevent Montia Sabbag, the woman involved in the controversy surrounding his 2017 adult film, from testifying in his legal dispute with his former assistant Miesha Shakes, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
This request follows Shakes' submission of a witness list identifying Sabbag as someone likely to testify about the controversy and his subsequent litigation against Hart.
Hart is suing Shakes following an interview he gave to blogger Tasha K, in which she discussed her private life. He alleges that she violated a non-disclosure agreement she signed when she left his company. Shakes, who worked for Hart from 2017 to 2020, argues that the agreement is unenforceable because he failed to meet other contractual obligations.
In his latest motion, Hart alleges that Shakes submitted his list of witnesses without first consulting his legal team, which he considers an irregularity. He also maintains that the implication of Sabbag was intended to discredit him and generate publicity, rather than to provide relevant evidence for the case.
Hart asked the court to dismiss Sabbag and the other proposed witnesses unless Shakes could demonstrate the relevance of their testimony. He maintains that only he, Shakes, and Tasha K are relevant witnesses. The comedian alleges that Shakes' interview damaged his reputation and is seeking unspecified damages.
