«On le savait tous» : pour protéger Eva Longoria, Tony Parker révèle avoir toujours refusé les soirées organisées par P. Diddy
While P. Diddy's name is stirring up the medico-legal sphere, star basketball player Tony Parker has admitted to having repeatedly refused invitations from the rapper, who was found guilty last summer on two counts related to prostitution.
Tony Parker shuts down P. Diddy. A guest on the "Legend" podcast, the French basketball star and former San Antonio Spurs point guard recounted his nights out across the Atlantic. While in a relationship with former Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria, Parker admitted to repeatedly turning down invitations from rapper P. Diddy, who was convicted of transportation for the purpose of prostitution.
These parties, dubbed "freak offs" by the rap mogul—a term that could be translated as "outrageous" but which primarily referred to the forced sexual performances organized by P. Diddy—were attended by numerous public figures. However, wishing to protect his wife Eva Longoria, the former basketball star, invited to these events, always declined the invitations.
"We all knew it."
"We were talking about it with Eva not long ago and we were saying to each other, 'Do you remember when he used to invite us to his parties?'" Tony Parker recalled. "I had heard what was going on, there were rumors in the community, we all knew about it, and that's why every time I told her, 'No, we're not going,'" he added.
Although Sean Combs' producer, aka P. Diddy, has consistently proclaimed the rapper's innocence, arguing it was a "swinger lifestyle" where participants were fully consenting, the controversial hip-hop star was found guilty last summer on two counts related to prostitution.
"He should have been denounced instead of remaining silent."
Although he was acquitted of sex trafficking and conspiracy charges, his trial had loosened the tongues of several alleged victims, with no fewer than 120 people accusing him of rape and assault. Tony Parker's subsequent statements immediately sparked reactions online, with opinions ranging from support to incomprehension.
"So everyone knew, they should have spoken out instead of staying silent," writes a listener of the "Legend" podcast, while another mentions the difficulties of bringing such a sordid affair to light: "People who criticize, he heard rumors but has no tangible proof. What is he going to reveal? It wasn't up to him to do it, but to those who had actually attended those parties."
Now divorced from Eva Longoria, the French basketball icon has not responded to the controversy sparked by this footage. This isn't the first time Tony Parker has stirred up the media, as in 2024, the former Spurs point guard spearheaded a real estate project to build a large hotel complex in Villard-de-Lans, Isère, a town of some 4,000 inhabitants which, like many ski resorts, is increasingly lacking in snow. With an estimated cost of 88 million euros, the project was officially rejected by the French government in September 2025 after much debate.
