Insultes au président Diomaye Faye : Ce que Mouhamed Ndiaye «Sonko» a dit à la BR de Keur Massar après son arrestation
Sought for several days by the police and the gendarmerie, Mouhamed Ndiaye alias "Mouhamed Sonko" finally fell this Monday around 5pm into the net of the research brigade of the Keur Massar company.
Following a social media post indicating the fugitive's willingness to voluntarily turn himself in to the police, the gendarmerie managed to locate him in Malika. It was under these circumstances that he was arrested, according to Seneweb sources.
When questioned briefly, "Sonko" readily admitted to the charges against him. He added that he was not conscious of his actions when he uttered insults against the Head of State, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye.
According to him, he is not in full possession of his mental faculties. As an illustration, the Pastef activist brandished medical prescriptions.
Following advice from prosecutor Saliou Dicko, Mouhamed Ndiaye was taken into custody. The head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office had initiated the case himself, activating the Keur Massar Criminal Investigation Brigade.
He is being prosecuted for inciting insurrection, inciting a gathering likely to disturb public security and insulting the head of state, according to exclusive information from Seneweb.
During his brief questioning, he asked for leniency from the justice system.
