Pluies, orages, et chaleur…: Voici les zones à surveiller ce mardi (Anacim)
The weather is likely to change rapidly. Starting this afternoon, Ziguinchor, Sédhiou, Kolda, Kédougou and Tambacounda are expected to be the first areas affected by rain and thunderstorms.
The phenomenon is then expected to spread, with less intensity, towards Kaffrine, Kaolack, and Fatick. At the same time, the National Civil Aviation and Meteorology Agency (ANACIM) is reporting a risk of rain in Dakar, Thiès, Louga, Diourbel, and Linguère.
In the North, the sky will remain mostly cloudy in Saint-Louis, Podor, and Matam, with the possibility of isolated showers. This instability, however, will not prevent the heat from persisting: maximum temperatures will range between 32°C and 38°C across the country.
Winds, from the west to southwest, will remain light to moderate, while visibility should remain generally good.
