Blocage de la LFR : À Mbacké, le ministre Idrissa Samb alerte sur les risques pour l'emploi
The debate surrounding budgetary decisions is intensifying in the political arena. During a visit to Mbacké on November 2nd, the Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Mr. Idrissa Samb, addressed the press alongside Ministers Balla Moussa Fofana and Alioune Dione, as well as the Director General of the DER (Delegation for Rapid Entrepreneurship), Abdoulaye Niane. The stated objective of this joint press conference was clear: "to dismantle the manipulation and restore the truth about the Amending Finance Law (LFR)."
For the government official, the issue of youth employment cannot be subject to political maneuvering. "At a time when our youth are demanding concrete and immediate answers for their future, the budget debate cannot be reduced to sterile political squabbles," he stated. Mr. Idrissa Samb thus took advantage of this platform to review his department's achievements in 2026 while detailing the outlook for 2027, emphasizing "the direct and dramatic consequences that the rejection of the Supplementary Finance Law and the Initial Finance Law by the PASTEF parliamentary group would have on vocational training and employability in Senegal."
A roadmap aligned with Vision 2050
Defending the regime's strategic directions, the minister recalled that the 2027 budget proposal is fully aligned with the high directives of the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye. "Driven by the new National Employment Policy (PNE) and aligned with the ambitions of the Masterplan, our roadmap aims to build a perfect synergy between training programs and the real needs of the labor market," he explained, citing among the priorities the adaptation of programs, support for youth and women's entrepreneurship, the modernization of infrastructure including Daaras, as well as the creation of sustainable jobs.
Faced with threats of parliamentary gridlock, Idrissa Samb insisted on holding everyone accountable. "Blocking the Finance Law and the Finance Law is not just paralyzing the government's actions: it's depriving tens of thousands of young Senegalese of skills training, valuable internships, or decent jobs. It's suspending the construction of our training centers, freezing scholarships, and closing the doors of businesses to a generation that no longer has time to wait," he warned.
A solemn appeal to parliamentarians
Concluding his speech with a plea for a sense of state, the Minister of Employment called on all political representatives to rise above partisan politics. "The state and the future of our nation must remain above all political considerations. True patriotism is not measured by the stance of an opposition, but by our collective ability to put the national interest before any clan-based logic," he emphasized.
Launching "a solemn appeal for restraint and reason," Idrissa Samb directly appealed to the conscience of the national representatives: "I call upon the maturity, seriousness, and sense of duty of our members of parliament to vote for these budget bills. They are not doing this for a government, but rather for the future of the children of this country, who expect their representatives to rise to the occasion."

Mais au Sénégal où certains benêts refusent à l'assemblée ses pouvoirs, on essaie de monter des cornes à des grenouilles.
Assane DIOUF, l'insulteur public N°1 , n'a qu'a bien se tenir. 😂
