Bulletin météo : des orages au Sud et à l'Est ce dimanche, des pluies attendues à Dakar dans la nuit
The National Agency for Civil Aviation and Meteorology (ANACIM) forecasts thunderstorms accompanied by light to moderate rain this Sunday, September 27, 2026, during the afternoon and evening. These storms will primarily affect the southern, central, and eastern regions, before spreading westward, notably towards Dakar, Thiès, and Fatick, during the night from Sunday to Monday.
According to the alert bulletin covering the period from Sunday, September 27 at 12 p.m. to Monday, September 28 at 12 p.m., the rainfall will first impact the South (Sédhiou, Kolda, Ziguinchor), the Centre (Kaffrine, the eastern part of Kaolack, Diourbel) as well as the East of the country (west of Matam, east of Linguère, Kédougou and Tambacounda).
On the other hand, in northern localities such as Louga, Saint-Louis and Podor, cloud cover will remain particularly dense, although the probability of precipitation remains low.
Overnight and into Monday morning, a new period of heavy rain will develop in the Southeast before gradually moving towards the Western regions. This deterioration in the weather will primarily affect Dakar, Thiès, Fatick, Kaolack, and Ziguinchor.
In terms of temperature, maximum temperatures will range between 31 and 38°C across the entire country. ANACIM also warns of the continued strong sensation of humid heat, felt more intensely in inland regions.
