Grand Dakar : un homme meurt dans un restaurant où il voulait prendre son dîner
On September 17, 2026, at approximately 0:15 a.m., the Grand Dakar district police station was notified by telephone of the discovery of a lifeless body on the street called "Garage Casamance", located in Grand-Dakar.
The transport carried out on the scene revealed the presence of the lifeless body of a male individual, identified as follows: C. Diouf, aged 36, residing in Grand-Dakar.
According to C. Diaw, a driver residing in Grand-Dakar who was at the scene, C. Diouf was buying dinner at a local restaurant when he suddenly collapsed and began to sigh. A moment later, he stopped breathing. This is how the witness alerted the Grand-Dakar police station, according to Seneweb sources.
The fire department was subsequently notified and called to the scene. After the investigation, the body was transported to the Idrissa Pouye Hospital in Grand-Yoff.
An investigation has been launched to determine the exact circumstances of the death.
